BRider App is a unique application designed by Be Seen Be Safe Ltd. in conjunction with Vinehealth Australia, to assist in protecting vineyards from biosecurity incursions, involving pests, diseases and weeds. The APP logs the movement of visitors into and out of a vineyard, creating an electronic log book of visitors movements for the property. It also provides an alert of these movements to the vineyard manager or owner, and instructions to the visitor to adhere to farm-gate biosecurity practices. The app provides track and trace capability between vineyard properties, imperative in the event of an outbreak of a pest, disease or weed. The APP runs in the background in adaptive mode so minimally affects battery life. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
